Peach and Lime Margarita Drink Recipe with Photo

Ingredients 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (or a squeeze) 1/2 cup water (or water with lemon) 2-3 drops of orange juice (optional) 1.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine the lime juice and water in a small saucepan.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture thickens slightly.

Remove from heat and strain into a small bowl.

Add the orange juice and continue simmering.

Remove the lime mixture from the heat and set aside.

To make the margaritas, place the orange and lime juice in a saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add enough water to cover and simmer until the lime becomes a very pale orange-green colour.

Remove and discard the heat.

Add lime juice, lime zest, lime juice concentrate, lime extract and orange zest to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture over the ice-cube trays, leaving about 1/3 of the mixture at the bottom.

Mix until smooth and thickened.

Pour into the chilled margaritaville glass or a large chilled glass, and garnish with a lime wedge. 8. Enjoy!
